Cool little spot. Very beachy and somewhat retro looking. Met Karla. Breakfast was great (3 of us). Large serving, impressed with presentation and taste. A definite winner. Will be back.

Stopped here for breakfast before heading back home and I’m so glad we did!! They by far have the best Food,service and atmosphere as they were all outstanding! Ruthie was our server and made us feel at home while here And when our food came out I was so surprised because they don’t skimp on the portions! You’ll get more than you can eat so be prepared to take home some leftovers Everything is home cooked and the sweet tea is phenomenal! Can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you KARLA FOR A GREAT MEAL

Very delicious, fresh fare; came with 10 friends relatively last minute, and we were able to be accommodated in a reasonable time. We had a minor issue where a side item was originally forgotten, but our server was EXCELLENT about rectifying the situation promptly and getting our food all squared away. The burger was fresh and excellent, made exactly as wanted. Fries and onion rings are both seemingly cut/ breaded/fried in location and were deliciously fresh. Would come back next time I'm in the area!

I wanted to try Karla’s as use to drive by the restaurant all the time to and from work. It’s a local spot for me, so I had to give it a try. Me and My Boyfriend loved it. That staff is so sweet, they treat you like they know you. The food is amazing! And the atmosphere is a great representation of ocean view.

Great place for brunch. They were pretty busy since it was a Saturday morning but we were sat immediately and our server greeted us quickly. The space was pretty loud when every table had patrons, they could probably use some sound dampening in there, but it chilled out while we were there. I got the chicken and waffle bowl and the chicken was good, the waffles were great, and their syrup was delicious. It was a real maple syrup that harmonized perfectly in my bowl. There's a self serve coffee bar with different coffee roasts and flavors, and a hot sauce bin with 20 hot sauces you can try. Our server recommended a few to go with the chicken and waffle flavor profile. Very cute family-owned business, I'm excited to come back and try something else off the menu.

The Hardest Part Of My Review Is That This Place Seems So Popular That It Takes A While To Get Your Food... A Very Good Problem To Have... The Service Was Great, Very Welcoming, And Spirit-Filled... But It Also Had The Best Piece Of Salmon I've Ever Had... Seriously. I'm Picky About My Salmon... This Filet Was Hot, Juicy, And Very Well Seasoned... The Next Best Place I've Bought Salmon Was 100 Miles Away For Almost 3x The Price... Funny How Karlas Is Literally Next To The Water And Far Less Pricey... And Better Prepared! Add Scrambled Eggs w/Pepper Jack, And Red-Skinned Potatoes... With Rye Toast (Orange Marmalade) Perfect Saturday Breakfast ! The Salmon Was Grilled Or Pan Seared And Seasoned Like No Body's Business But The Chef's Touch ... That's Why I Mentioned It Twice ! I Love Places Like This Because The Spirit Glows From The Simplicity... The Place Was No Bigger Than A Convenience Store, But Clearly Was "Home" (By The Beach) And Was Comfortably Crowded... Line Outside Too... I'm Guessing It's A Neighborhood Jewel With An Elder Staff... I'm Guessing They're Enjoying Their Golden Years And Staying Busy... We Can All Be So Lucky And Less Than A Block's Walk From The Beach... Truly, I'm Jealous, And Not Even A Beach Bum Type Of Guy... They Even Have A Bar... Which You Know Made Me Tear Up A Lil... Hoping I Could Have A Lil Spot Like This One Day, A Watering Hole And Hot Plate For Everyone In My Village ! Visited for the first time today. We wanted to eat breakfast food for lunch and this place offers breakfast anytime. I had the Beach Benedicts and my mom got the 2 pancakes and bacon platter. Both meals were great. Staff is friendly and attentive. Be back again soon.
